This page describes how the opportunity content published on Undersrvd may be used by readers, researchers, search engines, and AI discovery systems. It supplements — and does not replace — the Terms of Use.
Please note: this document is written in plain English to make our expectations clear. It is not a substitute for formal legal advice and has not been independently reviewed by a qualified lawyer. If you need certainty for a specific commercial use, please contact us before relying on it.
What Undersrvd owns
Undersrvd owns the original opportunity summaries, editorial analysis, problem statements, audience descriptions, suggested solutions, monetisation angles, category and region classifications, underserved scores, and the overall structure of the catalogue. These are the result of our own research, editing, and scoring work and are protected as original creative and database content.
What you may do
- Link to any public Undersrvd page, including opportunity, category, and region pages.
- Quote limited extracts (typically a sentence or two per opportunity) in articles, reports, presentations, newsletters, and social posts, provided you give clear attribution to Undersrvd and include a link back to the specific opportunity URL you are quoting.
- Cite Undersrvd as a source in academic, journalistic, and analytical work using the URL of the specific page you relied on.
What you may not do without written permission
- Republish, mirror, or bulk-copy Undersrvd opportunity content in whole or in substantial part.
- Scrape the site or its endpoints in order to assemble a derivative dataset.
- Resell Undersrvd content, or embed it in a paid product, dashboard, or feed.
- Create a substantially similar commercial database or intelligence service using Undersrvd opportunity summaries, classifications, or scores as source material.
If you would like to do any of the above, please request written permission using the contact route below.
Third-party source material
Undersrvd links to and cites third-party reports, articles, datasets, and other sources as evidence. This licence does not grant any rights over that third-party material. The rights, licences, and terms of the original publishers continue to apply to their content, and you are responsible for complying with them directly.
Search engines and AI discovery systems
Search engines, answer engines, and AI discovery and citation systems may crawl and index Undersrvd's public pages, and may surface short extracts alongside a link and citation back to the original Undersrvd URL. This is discovery and citation, and it is welcome.
What is not permitted is using Undersrvd content — whether by crawling, scraping, or bulk ingestion — to reproduce the catalogue, to generate a substantially similar competing service, or to answer user queries in a way that commercially substitutes for visiting Undersrvd. Attribution and linking back to the specific opportunity page is expected.
API and machine-readable endpoints
Undersrvd exposes machine-readable endpoints (for example JSON per-opportunity payloads, index feeds, and RSS/JSON feeds) to make the catalogue easier to discover and cite. Access to and reuse of these endpoints is subject to this licence and to any separate API terms, rate limits, and technical restrictions we publish or apply. We may change, restrict, or withdraw endpoint access at any time.
Attribution format
When quoting or citing Undersrvd, please use a form such as:
Source: Undersrvd — https://undersrvd.com/opportunities/<opportunity-slug>
Permission enquiries
For permission to republish, syndicate, license in bulk, or use Undersrvd content in a way not covered above, please email hello@undersrvd.com with a short description of the intended use.
Changes
We may update this licence from time to time to reflect new endpoints, new formats, or changes in how the catalogue is used. The current version is always the one published at this URL.
